About the Role:

We are seeking a Freelance Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial management of a hotel construction project in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic project team delivering a landmark build, working closely with the lead Quantity Surveyor and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, cost plans, and financial reports
Support procurement processes, including tender analysis and subcontractor appointments
Monitor variations and valuations, and assist with interim and final account preparations
Contribute to contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
Attend site meetings and liaise with site and design teams as required
Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role (hotel or high-end residential experience preferred)
Proficient in MS Excel; experience with cost management software beneficial
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
